Why Choose maxathletics Camps?

We teach skills only, no pressure to perform material at camp. Our camp is indoors on cheer mats. No sunburn, sunscreen or rain issues.

We use advanced equipment to teach skills including inflatable Air Tracks, spotting blocks and the only camp in Michigan that uses a loose foam pit.

We are the only cheer camp in Michigan housed in a lakefront resort setting with air conditioned rooms, an indoor water park, swimming, tubing, and boating!

Our staff is comprised of athletes and coaches from MHSAA State Championship teams, and Collegiate National Championship teams. Our camp is small. You and your athletes will not get lost in the crowd.

Our camp is among the least expensive cheer camps in the US!

2024 Summer Camp Information

--Camp Dates and Sessions:

Session One: 2 Day Camp: Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26

1 Day Camp: Tuesday, June 25

Session Two: 2 Day Camp: Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28

1 Day Camp: Thursday, June 27

Cost for a 1 day session is $70 per athlete and includes lunch at the gym.

Cost for a 2 day session is $180 per athlete staying in the hotel or $140 for athletes that commute to camp. Most rooms have 2 double beds and we house 4 people per room. If coaches or athletes want one per bed, then we can get a discounted rate from the hotel and each team can pay the extra amount. PLEASE NOTE: Rooms at the host hotel are limited. We have other hotels available for $165 per athlete, just a short drive, please contact us for details. We cannot hold hotel rooms for teams until full payment has been made. Hot and cold breakfast is included at the hotel and a simple lunch is served at the school. Dinner is separate and there is a restaurant at the host hotel, as well as a number of fast food options about a 1/2 mile from the host hotel. We have a small, ice cream social in the breakfast area of the hotel in the evening. Transportation from the host hotel to the school/camp location, is included in the price for camp, and provided by the local county transportation busing system. The transportation company can be slow. Many teams opt to ride with parents and coaches to the school/camp location, which is about 2.7 miles from the host hotel.

The coach's fee is $10 per day for each additional coach, with a team attending.

The fee for a coach attending without a team is $20 per day.

***One coach's room will be provided for every 20 athletes.*** The complimentary rooms can be used by coaches or parents that are onsite to help coaches. Additional rooms can be purchased at a discounted rate based on availability.
